The Lassiter Education Foundation pays eligible youth $10.00 per hour for qualifying community service that has been approved by the Foundation.
The program is designed to encourage young people to identify needs around them, take initiative, serve others, and experience firsthand the value of contributing to their community.
Get Approved Before You Begin
Community service must be approved by the Lassiter Education Foundation to be eligible for a stipend. Please submit the pre-approval form before beginning the service you would like considered for the program.

Service can take many forms. The best projects identify a genuine need and provide a meaningful benefit to another person, neighborhood, or community.
Helping a Neighbor
Complete yard work or other appropriate household assistance for an elderly or disabled neighbor who could use a helping hand.
Litter Cleanup
Help keep the community clean by participating in an approved litter pickup or neighborhood cleanup project.
Tutoring
Share your knowledge and skills by providing approved academic assistance or tutoring to another student.
These are examples, not an exhaustive list. Other meaningful service projects may qualify when approved by the Foundation.
